Sarah Meek is an expert in advancing mission-driven policy solutions, specializing in public and private health insurance, disability, aging, and long-term services and supports. Most recently Sarah served as Director of Federal Affairs for CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, leading comprehensive advocacy and political messaging campaigns to advocate for effective health reform policies. Before joining CareFirst, Sarah was the Senior Director of Legislative Affairs at the American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) and the Director of Public Policy and Advocacy for Lutheran Services in America-Disability Network.

Sarah has a Master of Social Work degree from The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, and a BA in Political Science from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.

Rachel Patterson

Rachel Patterson is a national disability policy leader with expertise in disability and health, long-term services and supports, and civil rights. As Disability Policy Director for the White House Domestic Policy Council, Rachel oversaw all federal disability policy developments in civil rights, education, employment, health care, transportation, and Social Security policy. Prior to joining the Biden Administration, Rachel was Senior Director of Federal Relations and Policy at the Epilepsy Foundation and a Senior Consultant at Health Management Associates.

Rachel has a Master of Public Administration degree from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, and a BA in Politics from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington.
